The Children's Home is looking for an of campus Director of Therapeutic After School Program


The Director of TASP should be able to manage the TASP team in providing a family-centered therapeutic after school program to youth and families in need of preventative services.

The Director will be responsible to provide leadership to the TASP clinical and child care staff on providing the best possible services to at risk children and families in the areas of therapeutic interventions, educational support, recreation, and creativity (arts & crafts).


Principal Accountabilities:


Teamwork:

Ensure the standards of a high performing team member are role modeled on a daily basis and that all supervisees are accountable to performing at the same standard.


Reports:
Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner meeting all standards of content and professional presentation.


Program Administration:
Ensure that Agency standards of practice as well as State, Federal and Accreditation standards are fully met. Exceed those standards wherever possible and practical.


Program Development:
Initiate, develop and implement valid, innovative best practices consistent with progressive trends, directions and research. Continuously monitor, evaluate and enhance all programming.


Finance:
Prepare a well-considered annual budget for TASP and ensure operation within the budget.


Personnel:

Ensure continuity of managerial and specialized personnel fully competent in achieving objectives through effective selection, development, training, evaluation and motivation of supervisees.


Community Relations:

Foster strong ties with mental health providers, purchasers of services, and Sarah Jane Johnson Church administrators to provide effective communication and support within the community and church.


  • Perform any and all miscellaneous job duties as may be required from time to time.

Pay:
$58, $62,000.00 per year
