    Bobcat of the Rockies is a full-service Bobcat Dealership specializing in new, used, and rental compact excavators, skid steer loaders, track loaders, utility vehicles, and Bobcat attachments.

    Bobcat of the Rockies - Colorado Springs is looking for an experienced small engine mechanic. If you love the challenge of small engines, like dirt bikes, chain saws or lawn mowers, and have a great attitude, we'd like to get to know you. Apply Today

    $20-24/hour depending on experience

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical service to small engines.
    • Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk
    • Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
    • Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
    • Maintain your assigned workspace in an organized and clean manner.
    • Adhere to manufacturer's policy and procedures as they relate to labor operations, time and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs and torque specifications.
    • Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company.

    Qualifications

    • Two years experience as a small engine mechanic.
    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Be self-motivated and conduct oneself in a professional manner.
    • Must have own inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.
    • Two year technical degree may be used in lieu of 2 years of verifiable technical employment.
    • Must be able to pass a drug screen

    Physical Requirements

    • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
    • Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
    • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
    • Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
