Our New York office, located in Rockefeller Center, works with US financial institutions, corporations, and law firms with a focus on European law.

About the role:
Management Assistant Business Development


You will be part of a team that works as a pool to carry out support / secretarial and office management tasks.

Each Management Assistant has their own area of expertise. Your area of expertise is business development and marketing.


As a full time Management Assistant, with focus on Business Development and Marketing, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and reach of our business.

You will support implementing of our business development strategies and enhance client relationships, making this role ideal for someone who is creative, enjoys writing and has a keen interest in numbers and data management.


Responsibilities


In this role, you will support the execution of our business development and marketing plan, which includes managing our client relationship management database, planning events, and creating marketing communications such as mailings, client alerts and publications.

You will contribute to the legal ranking submission process and manage internal communications relating to the New York office.

Your responsibilities will also extend to handling client account management, preparing lawyers for business development meetings and ensuring diligent follow-up of business initiatives.

Additionally, you will be expected to pilot the use of artificial intelligence tools to automate marketing tasks, reflecting our commitment to innovation.

You will carry out a variety of administrative tasks essential to the smooth running of the office.

These include managing calendars and scheduling meetings, filing company documents, answering phones and assisting with general enquiries, making travel arrangements and providing general administrative support.


Skills required

  • An excellent communicator with strong business writing and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Windows 10 and Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with iManage/DMS, Contract Express, InterAction and Vuture is considered a plus.
  • A capable team player who can also work independently, demonstrating initiative and leadership in project management.
  • Organized and meticulous with the ability to prioritize work, manage time efficiently and follow through on tasks.
  • Flexible in working style, able to multitask and adjust priorities as required.
  • Solutionoriented with sound judgement, always willing to suggest best practice and implement feedback effectively.
  • Fluency in Dutch or French is a plus, but not required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years office experience, preferably in marketing or business development.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States (Visa with EAD, Green Card or US Citizenship).
