    Job Description


    We are seeking a Research Project Manager to assist in the conduct of observational studies (including the ongoing Alpha-1 Biomarkers Consortium study) and to assist in enrolling participants in interventional clinical trials.

    This position will work both independently and as a member of a team to collect clinical data from study participants ages 18 to 85 years during in-person and telephone visits.

    Responsibilities will include interacting with the IRB, interacting with study personnel from other study sites, interacting with study sponsors, coordinating participant study visits, interacting with BMC personnel in relation to participant study visits, consenting participants for blood collections, collecting and maintaining study data, conducting study questionnaires, overseeing study participant reimbursement, entering study data into REDCap, and assisting in compliance with study regulatory requirements.

    Schedule is Monday-Friday, typically 9:00am-5:00pm but varies depending on daily schedule to accommodate participants. The research specialist works one-on-one with participants without supervision to perform assessments and collect data.
    Required Skills

    Degree required:
    Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience.
    Prior experience in a similar role is helpful but not required.
    Students enrolled in Masters degree programs at the BU School of Public Health are encouraged to apply.
