    Job Description

    Major Purpose:

    The Systems Analyst specializes in analyzing, implementing, and providing support for business application systems such as Deltek Costpoint, Time & Expense, Microsoft SQL, and other IT solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Participate in the planning, design, documentation, implementation, and support of complex business systems.
    • Resolve issues and offer recommendations that demand judgment and initiative.
    • Review and enhance existing systems by analyzing their effectiveness and efficiency, developing strategies for improvement, or maximizing their potential.
    • Conduct QA reviews of configurations for implementations or modifications.
    • Oversee the maintenance, patches, upgrades, and overall health of business applications.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training for applications, modifications, and enhancements.
    • Ensure compliance with the company's IT Application Systems' security policies and procedures.
    • Conduct independent studies, analysis, interpretations, and suggest solutions.
    • Quickly identify key business requirements with minimal information by pinpointing key stakeholders and asking pertinent questions.
    • Establish and facilitate communication with other teams to manage inter-dependencies and requirements.
    • Monitor ticket queue and support issues, requests, and changes related to Deltek products.
    • Perform other assigned duties.

    Qualifications:

    • B.A. / B.S. degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting business applications.
    • At least 2 years of experience with Deltek Costpoint, Time & Expense, and Cobra.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Materials Management and MRP.
    • At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft SQL Server.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Familiarity with SOX and Information Assurance programs.
    • Experience with IBM Cognos.

    Work Environment:

    The job tasks are carried out in an office or manufacturing facility environment.

    Ability to work overtime during and off regular shifts as needed.

    The employee must be available 24x7 to resolve problems and issues.

    Physical Demands:

    The physical requirements entail sitting for extended periods, verbal communication in person, in meetings, and via phone, manual dexterity to operate computers or office equipment, and reaching with hands and arms.
