More than just a start:

  • Your career path begins at Wilhelm Schroeder in Herscheid.
  • Here, you will be responsible for setting up and operating our machines.
  • What do we do? We process materials ranging from 5 mm steel strips to soft plastic seals and combine them to create functional integrated components for the automotive industry, medical field, and household technology.
  • You will embark on your journey with approximately 6 apprentices in Herscheid.
  • In our company, you will have the opportunity to interact with nearly 160 employees.
  • After 2 years, you have a good chance of being hired on permanently.

And this is how your training will go:
You will set up our machines, put them into operation, and monitor the production process. You will also pay attention to the material flow and ensure quality using the computer terminal. Later on, you will learn about CNC control programs, maintain machines and equipment, and replace wear parts. Your knowledge of technical drawings and business relationships will make you a professional.

This training provides a good foundation for further career opportunities with us, such as industrial mechanic, tool mechanic, or plastic and rubber technologist.
