Tasks:

What you will do in the apprenticeship:

  • Design and implementation of software applications
  • Programming, testing, and documentation
  • Project planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Development of user-friendly interfaces
  • At the beginning of the apprenticeship, basic knowledge of electrical engineering will be taught at external training facilities
  • The apprenticeship is usually shortened to 2.5 years

What to expect in the study program:
  • Acquisition of knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, and computer science/programming as part of the Electrical Engineering program at FH Südwestfalen, Hagen campus
  • Acquisition of key qualifications (project management, presentation techniques, etc.)
  • After completing the first phase of the apprenticeship, you will work in engineering-related tasks for 4 days a week
  • The focus of the second phase of the apprenticeship is on the development of technical software
