Duties:

• Develop and implement ageappropriate curriculum for children in a daycare or preschool setting.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Plan and lead engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
• Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and address challenging behaviors.
• Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized support as needed.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level.
• Understanding of behavior management techniques for working with children with autism or other special needs is a plus.
