For the winter semester 2024/25, we are looking to fill a professorship (m/f/d) in the field of civil engineering at the IU International University in Frankfurt am Main.

The position is initially limited to 2 years and part-time, starting on [insert date].

Your responsibilities:

You will represent the field of civil engineering in teaching and research in the practiceintegrated bachelor's program and work with us to train the new generation of professionals (for more insights, please refer to the module handbook).
You will create and lead lectures and be responsible for the individual support of our dual students during their exams and when writing their final theses.
You will provide practical and wellfounded basic knowledge in civil engineering and be able to train our students in areas such as construction management, construction, sustainable building, real estate management, and lean construction management.
You will be involved in the creative development of teaching formats within the didactic concept of the IU for the dual study program and further develop it in collegial cooperation.
