Educational Outreach Specialist (Vacancy#:VAR002752)
This position serves as an Educational Outreach Specialist, located in the John W. Kluge Center within Researcher and Collections Services, Library Collections and Services Group, Library of Congress. The incumbent reports directly to the Director of the Kluge Center. The purpose of this position is to provide essential support for the Kluge Center's educational outreach initiatives, implementing and coordinating programs and maintaining the Kluge Center's relationships with academic and cultural institutions, scholarly organizations, and policy-oriented think tanks, both domestically and internationally. The incumbent also provides assistance in managing the Kluge Center's interaction with alumni (former scholars-in-residence), developing, and maintaining networks with the objective of keeping alumni engaged with the Kluge Center and its programs. In collaboration with the Director and program managers, the Educational Outreach Specialist assists with the evaluation and quantitative and qualitative assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of Kluge Center programs for LOC.
