Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our growing team.

We're a family owned and operated business of 52 years and we're taking the company to the next level of growth and love for you to be a part of it You'll have a guaranteed 40 hours a week (we're open Monday-Friday 8-5) No trailer experience is necessary, but mechanical skills and logic is.

We are a full service Trailer and Auto repair shop that specializes in boat, camping and utility trailers. Trailer hitches and flat towing, as well as our full auto repair and accessories department.


Responsibilities:

• Utilize hand and power tools and equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and repair trailers (hubs, brakes, springs, axles, electrical and tires)
• Complete all repair orders in a timely manner, ensuring all parts are accounted for
• Maintaining cleanliness or work area
• Help out and assist other techs when asked upon
• Install trailer hitches, 5th wheels, goosenecks, and electrical (will teach you if willing)
• Perform DOT mandated inspections

Qualifications:

• Mechanical skills and logic (trailer experience is not necessary, but a major plus)
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs
• Be a team player, while listening and taking direction
• Must own your own tools
• Eagerness to learn and adapt new skills
• Proficiency in welding is a huge plus and more in pay, but will teach you if you have desire to learn
• Mechanical aptitude and problemsolving abilities

$ $26.00 per hour

• Diesel engine repair: 1 year (preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (preferred)
