Farm Equipment Operator - Grand Rapids, United States - Agri-nutrient Applications

Description

In this role you will be operating newer Case IH tractors hauling double tanks from our customers picking up the manure to hauling and injecting the liquid nutrients on farm fields.

You will be assisting with basic preventative maintenance, performing pre-trip inspections on equipment, and assisting in other areas as needed.

This is a salary position with an average of 35 hours per week.
This position is for you if you

Have prior experience operating heavy equipment in production agriculture, farming, construction and/or military.
Knowledge and use of auto-steer is helpful but not required.
Have a desire to take over and own your own business.
Hold basic mechanical knowledge and are comfortable assisting in light maintenance.
You have a solid work ethic and are comfortable with early start times; typically, 6am.
You have a clean driving record; no DWI in the past 3 years.

What you would be doing

Pressure wash tanks to maintain clean equipment.
Perform light maintenance as necessary on equipment.
Drive a pick-up and/or mini-loader for snow plowing in the winter.
