The Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in the Helmholtz Association is one of the leading international biomedical research centers.

Researchers from around 60 countries analyze the human system at the locations in Berlin-Buch and Mitte - from the smallest building blocks of life to organ-spanning mechanisms.

The insights gained from our basic research are intended to benefit patients quickly. Therefore, the MDC promotes spin-offs and cooperates in networks.

The partnerships with the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin in the joint Experimental and Clinical Research Center (ECRC) and the Berlin Institute of Health at the Charité, as well as the German Center for Cardiovascular Research, are particularly close.

1600 people work at the MDC. It is financed 90 percent by the federal government and 10 percent by the state of Berlin.

The animal house is looking for a reliable assistant for tasks in the dishwashing area.

  • Cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of experimental animal technology
  • Supply and disposal of animal housing areas with all necessary materials
  • Operation of manual & automated washing lines
  • Operation of manual & automated bottle washing system
  • Operation of rack washer
  • Manual stocking of special shelves with experimental animal materials
  • Loading of washing machine & dryer (including folding laundry)
  • Regular cleaning and maintenance of all facilities
  • Operation and stocking of passthrough autoclaves
  • Operation and stocking of H2O2 airlocks
  • Disposal of animal carcasses
