The Hartford Cultural Institutions - a self-governing institution of the city of Hartford - is seeking to fill a full-time, permanent position as:


Director of Artistic Operations (m/f/d) at the Institute for Vocal Music.


The Hartford Cultural Institutions consist of the departments of Cultural Office, Libraries, Museums, Music School, Dietrich-Keuning-Haus, City Archives, Adult Education Center, and Dortmunder U.

The Office of the Management is the shared service facility.


The Institute for Vocal Music was founded on September 1, 2019 under the management of the KLANGVOKAL Music Festival in Hartford.

The goal of the institute is to network existing vocal music institutions in Hartford and throughout North Rhine-Westphalia, as well as to develop new activities in the vocal music segment.

The KLANGVOKAL Music Festival presents international and regional artists at the highest level, and the FEST DER CHÖRE in downtown Hartford attracts 60,000 visitors.

The job advertisement is aimed at applicants with a completed university degree (FH diploma or bachelor's degree) in the fields of linguistics (German, English, Romance), literature, theater and music studies
