Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - New grads welcomed


Location:
Pottstown, PA


Annual Rate:
$80,620 to $115,315 Yearly

Shift: 3x12s - 36hrs - Days or Nights available


We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in telemetry to join our team in Pottstown, PA.

As a Telemetry Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients in need of monitoring and continuous assessment.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive and individualized nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of patients' vital signs, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and other telemetry data.
  • Recognize and report any changes in patients' condition or abnormal telemetry readings to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and selfcare techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients, promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure quality patient care and safety.
  • Stay updated on current nursing practices and advances in telemetry technology.

Requirements:


  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or related setting.
  • Strong knowledge of telemetry monitoring equipment, ECG interpretation, and cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detailoriented with strong critical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when needed.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and ongoing education.
