In addition to our contracting services, we also produce sand, gravel, flex base (caliche), and other construction materials.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role as a General Superintendent at IOC Company, L.L.C. based in McAllen, TX. The General Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at construction sites, coordinating and managing construction activities, ensuring project schedules are met, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role involves collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

    Qualifications
    • Experience in construction management and supervision
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously
    • Experience in transportation infrastructure projects is a plus
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols
    • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Proficiency in using construction management software
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred
