Job Description
This is a temporary position working 25-28 hours/week for an expected duration of approximately 12 weeks.
This position will be involved in projects relating to specialized expense reporting for the enterprise.
Ameritas seeks an experienced and knowledgeable contributor to develop an expense analysis and budgeting system/process for project work. This project will have significant impacts on the annual budget and expense process for the enterprise.
Essential knowledge and skills to be exhibited include strong organizational awareness; an aptitude for changing regulatory environment; expense management, budget development; and an ability to anticipate problems while ensuring an effective approach is taken when maneuvering in complex situations.
An understanding of related financial processes and financial accounting systems, including Oracle is also important.At Ameritas, our mission is Fulfilling Life.

What You Do:
Develop and design new finance models and processes relating to tracking project budgets.
Consults with teams throughout the Enterprise on developing plans to achieve results.
Direct and facilitate the completion and submission of expense projections and project spend.
Lead special projects aimed at disciplined project expense management.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
4-7 years' related experience required.
2-4 years' experience effectively supervising or managing direct reports required.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools required.
Experience collaborating with business partners, examiners/auditors desired.
Ability to build strong internal customer relationships.
Experience with budgeting tools preferred.
Experience with Oracle or other cloud-based applications is preferred.
