What you'll be doing:


You will be responsible for:


  • Build out and execute the overall Supply Chain strategy and systems to support commercial supply chain and launch readiness
  • Establish processes for inventory optimization, material planning/management, strategic sourcing, oversight of shipping and logistics, input to serialization, ERP implementation, and supporting patient operations and risk management
  • Regular interfacing with the commercial team and representation with the 3PL, wholesalers, and external contractors as needed
  • This role will be accountable for designing and implementing core capabilities that drive proactive modeling and decision analysis of supply network and product strategy including governance, S&OP business processes and technology to support this work
  • Lead the development and implementation of a manual system like ERP for inventory management and planning
  • Partner with members of the Technical Operations leadership team to ensure the manufacturing and supply chain network is right sized for each stage of development
  • Negotiate commercial supply agreements with key service providers and suppliers in collaboration with Procurement and External Manufacturing
  • Manage Regulatorycompliant chain of custody requirements and phase appropriate tools.
  • Implement KPIs that drives accountability and improvement in both operational and financial metrics
  • Author and review supply chain standard operating procedures and ensure these are well communicated and understood by the staff who would use them.
  • This role may require travel (domestic & international) up to 2025% of the time

What Knowledge & Experience you'll bring to us
:


  • Bachelor's degree required, preferred in in Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 15+ years of progressive technical operations management experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, and a minimum of 10 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in project execution and program management.
  • Experience with pharmaceuticals in a GMP setting from Clinical stage through Commercialization
  • Experience with implementing ERP systems and supporting processes.
  • Track record of developing and working with external suppliers and wholesalers
  • Lean manufacturing experience desired
  • Strong analytical problemsolving skills a must
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to work in crossfunctional teams including across multiple sites and time zones.
  • Must be selfmotivated and have the ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong quality orientation with attention to detail
  • Ability to identify problems and to be innovative and effective in developing solutions, mitigating execution risk
  • Collaborative leader with ability to strongly influence with or without authority, facilitate groups with diverse perspectives, and bring teams to consensus/alignment
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and change able to create order from chaos
