    Job Opportunity

    Are you skilled in car audio and electronics installation, retail equipment assembly, electrical work, mechanical drawing, STEM background, or Vo Tech training? How about traveling worldwide to assist our diverse customers? If that sounds appealing, keep reading.

    Responsibilities:

    • Fabricate, assemble, and integrate electronic communications equipment, video teleconferencing systems, facility infrastructure, security systems, and electrical components into military and government platforms.
    • Create various cable assemblies following military standards.
    • Collaborate with Quality Control, Engineering, and Project Managers to enhance production quality.
    • Interpret technical drawings for communication, network, and security systems.
    • Develop custom installation kits for offsite integrations.

    The hourly rate for this role is set at $17.82 (Tech I) / $19.79 (Tech II), non-negotiable.

    This position is based in Chesapeake, Virginia, with no relocation support available. Candidates must either reside in or be willing to relocate to the area.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma and relevant experience (candidates with at least two years of experience or an Associate degree in Engineering may be considered for level II).
    • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
    • Ability to work in various positions, lift different weights, climb ladders, work at heights, and handle hazardous materials.
    • Valid U.S. state driver's/operator's license or permit.
    • Readiness to travel within the U.S. and internationally (up to 50%) and hold a valid US passport.
    • Basic skills in Microsoft Office programs.
    • Personal set of basic hand tools required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and instructions.
    • Experience in soldering, cable fabrication, metal fabrication, and assembly.
    • Relevant certifications such as Fiber/BICSI/NAVSEA, OSHA, and Fall Protection.
    • Knowledge in Networking/Audio/Visual/Teleconferencing, Electronic Security Systems, and electrical/mechanical work.

    Pay Information:

    This position adheres to the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) wage regulations determined by the Department of Labor.
