Position Summary:


  • The Fourth Street CTE Administrative Analyst is located at the Coconino Community College campus on Fourth Street in Flagstaff, Arizona. This key role works in partnership with all CCC divisions to help assure the successful and efficient delivery of CCC services at the Fourth Street Campus. This is primarily accomplished through administrative assistance to the Dean of Career and Technical Education, supervision of reception desk staff, and campus operations management. The position assists in promoting CCC's student and community services and acts as an advocate and liaison for the campus. This is a fulltime, 12month, benefiteligible position, with some evening and weekend work required.**First Application Review: June 26, Open until Filled

_Salary & Benefits_

  • Anticipated Hiring Range: $48,363 $59,970/annual depending on education and experience.
  • Full Salary Range: $48,363 $71,577/annual depending on education and experience.
  • Cafeteria Plan: In addition to the base compensation, benefitseligible employees receive an extra $5,640 per year to put toward benefit costs or to be used as additional takehome pay
Paid Holidays: 21 (including a full week off between Christmas and New Year's Day and over Spring Break)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


_CTE Division Administrative Support_

  • Provides administrative support to the Dean of Career and Technical Education.
  • Assists the Dean with creating and maintaining their annual budget, reviewing all division budgets, and ensuring that all required budget forms are submitted in a timely manner
  • Maintains the status of campus funds through tracking of expenditures, reconciliation of expenses, and preparation of budget adjustments.
  • College purchasing card user and reconciler for the Dean's purchasing card
  • Completes travel requests and claims in a timely manner for the Dean.
  • Schedules meetings as requested and assists Dean with time management and correspondence.

_Student Services_

  • Manages reception desk staff to enhance student engagement and success through efficient enrollment, registration, and advisement.
  • Resolves issues promptly and addresses employee, students, and community concerns with diplomacy and care.
  • Serves as liaison between Fourth Street students, staff, and faculty and college service providers located at the Lone Tree campus.

_ Campus Operations Management_

  • Under the direction of the Dean, coordinates operations of the Fourth Street Campus, ensuring that campus maintenance, security, information technology, and other needs are handled promptly and correctly.
  • Assists in logístical support of activities on the Fourth Street campus.
  • Serves as the point of contact for inquiries regarding use of Fourth Street campus facilities.
  • Manages the Fourth Street campus room schedule, working closely with the Dean, CTE coordinators, the events group, community education, and other individuals/groups to ensure equitable and appropriate use of Fourth Street facilities.

_Other Duties_

  • Attend college meetings and serve on college committees as appropriate.
  • Promote professionalism, collaboration and positivity in the workplace.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Demonstrated leadership ability and skills in customer service, organizational problem solving, and critical thinking.
  • Experience in community college education program and site management and scheduling.
  • Highly skilled and able to be compelling in oral, written, and interpersonal communication methods.
  • Experience managing budgets and creating schedules.
  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to groups and individuals of differing cultural or socioeconomic backgrounds in a collegiate environment.
  • Experience utilizing MS Office suite and related computer software.
  • Ability to stay current with workforce trends, technology and educational delivery methods.

Minimum Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in an administrative/support role, or any combination of equivalent education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job and/or as approved by the Human Resources department.
