The Diakonie Hospital Stuttgart, an academic teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Tübingen, is a modern, high-performance and dynamically growing clinic with a religious orientation.

Located in the heart of Stuttgart, we provide care for approximately patients annually with around employees and 400 beds in 8 main departments, both inpatient and outpatient.

The Diakonie Hospital Stuttgart is currently seeking a certified DIET COOK (m/f/d) for our kitchen, starting as soon as possible and initially for a period of 2 years, in full-time.

Your responsibilities will include processing and preparing special and diet meals according to our in-house meal plan catalog, as well as potentially developing suitable recipes.

You will also be responsible for preparing cold and hot meals for our patients in collaboration with our dieticians, participating in the creation of meal plans and utilizing your expertise.

Other duties include monitoring and serving meals at the food distribution line with final quality control, providing guidance to kitchen staff and assisting in the compilation of diet catalogs in interdisciplinary teams.

You will also be expected to adhere to and implement food regulations and the prescribed HACCP hygiene standards.


Your profile should include a completed training as an IHK-certified diet cook (m/f/d), experience in a diet and large-scale kitchen is desirable.
