Our Cultivation department with over 10,000sq/ft of canopy is constructed as a state-of-the-art facility using a 4-tiered rack storage system, and an unconventional cogeneration power generation/cooling system onsite.

We also have a 45,000 sq/ft manufacturing and distribution facility with cutting edge capabilities for beverage manufacturing, commercial kitchen, and flower packaging.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Sylmar, Jefferson Park, and Canoga Park Locations. As the Maintenance Technician, provide a safe and well-maintained store environment for customers and employees. This role will support the Maintenance Manager to ensure stores are ready for business daily.


Responsibilities

• Keeping the facility and maintenance area clean, organized, and safe.
• Keeping our facilities in world class condition
• Maintaining the interior and exterior of buildings and grounds
• Follow work instructions and OSHA safety rules, including the use of all PPE and other safety equipment in an industrial environment.
• Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, detect and replace defective items, test and make final adjustments for highspeed production equipment.
• Maintain technical knowledge by actively participating in continuous training.
• Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
• Perform manual labor tasks such as loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Assist with administrative task such as parts ordering, PO# creation, vendor management, and attending relevant job meetings/project meetings, etc.
• Communicate, coordinate, and assist in work with outside contractors, vendors, and Property Managers/Landlords.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Employee will work with chemicals. Employee will travel to different locations and will respond to emergency situations to perform repair and maintenance work.

Minimum Requirements:

• Maintenance: minimum 4 years industrial mechanical/electrical or 2year technical degree (required)
• Able to work other shifts and weekend if needed and be flexible to work overtime.
• Excellent communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Able to work in a fastpaced environment.
• Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
• Ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds on occasion and 20 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to work seated or standing for at least 8 hours.
• Must be able to reach items at varying height levels (on shelves, on ground, etc.).
• Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
• Kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
• Work in high areas including the roof and operate equipment.

***- Pay: Hourly $20-$35/hr Depending on Experience

• OT and DT may also be available.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call (Emergencies)
• May need to occasionally work on weekends or off shift hours.

Experience:

• Managerial: 2 years (preferred)
• Maintenance: minimum 4 years industrial mechanical/electrical or 2 year technical degree (required)

Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Cannabis: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Sylmar, CA 91342: Relocate before starting work (required)
