Overview:

Responsible for the scaling of all trucks that enter the transfer station while providing efficient, courteous customer service.


Duties:

• Weigh in and out all trucks using electronic software
• Collect payment included credit card and cash payments
• Proper record keeping of payments and other documents including weight slips
• Operates basic office equipment including, computer, phone, fax machine, copier, or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions, to include the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other system software.
• Perform other office duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management in order to successfully handle customer service.

Experience:

• Basic math skills for cash handling
• Familiarity with computers, ability to successfully learn new software, reasoning skills.
• Preference for bilingual Spanish/English speakers, and Quickbooks experience, but not required.

Physical/Mental Demands:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, and hear.

Visual Requirements:
include close vision and distance vision.

Possess ability to occasionally lift/move up to 10 pounds.


Working Conditions:

Although working in office, you will be handing tickets through a window so you will be frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.

Noise level is moderate.


Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
