Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has an Office Manager role available in Houston Join a strong and continuously evolving group, helping to continue to grow our business.
The Office Manager will lead a team of Customer Service Representatives and perform day-to-day office-related functions, partnering with multiple departments throughout the site, region, and state.
As a provider of customized supply chain solutions, we serve customers in many business-to-business market segments including restaurants, grocery stores, healthcare, sports and entertainment, and cruise lines.
Founded in 1935 and headquartered in New Jersey, Imperial Dade serves as a mission-critical partner to more than 90,000 customers through our footprint of 125+ branches.
**_Responsibilities:
You will:
- Lead a team of six
- Manage the daily officerelated functions.
- Manage site badging system for all employees and visitors.
- Resolve elevated complaints and concerns from internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with departments working to optimize and enhance efficiencies.
- Recommend potential departmental changes and improvements.
- Enter and process biweekly payroll information into our system (we use ADP)
Qualifications:
You have:
- 35+ years of experience managing and developing teams
- Solid technology skills (Excel, Word, task management systems, etc.)
- Good problemsolving and interpersonal skills
- ADP experience is a plus.
- S2k experience is a plus.
