Summary

The Senior Accountant prepares, analyzes and reviews financial statements using accounting principles.

Prepare of financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements and other documents that project the organization's financial position
Support quarterly and annual internal and external audits.
Analysis of intercompany accounts and understanding how the balance sheet, profit and loss statement and statement of cash flows are interconnected.
Understand and prepare complex journal entries for multiple entities (payroll, benefits accruals, IBNR, etc.)
Responsible for monthly closing procedures
Researching complex accounting topics and knowledgeable of ASC topics
Analyzing, reconciling, and owning of balance sheet accounts with the ability to support ending balances, including explanations of aging and write-offs.
Lead/support initiatives projects for group as needed, including key projects within Oracle Cloud.
Experience with global reporting and communication requirements.

Qualifications:

B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
The Senior Accountant requires six (6) years of experience in accounting.
Experience in public accounting a plus.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with Oracle Cloud and/or SAP
Requires strong tactical thinking and business problem solving skills
Requires strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Requires strong analytical skills and the ability to assemble and quickly analyze data
Requires excellent organization skills with accurate and precise attention to detail
