Job Summary:


The Educational Technology and Data Administrator is responsible for managing the technology infrastructure of an educational institution and ensuring that data related to student performance, teacher effectiveness, and other relevant metrics are collected, analyzed, and reported.

This position will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other technical staff to ensure that the technology infrastructure and data management systems meet the educational institution's needs.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement a technology plan that aligns with the educational goals and objectives of the institution.
  • Manage the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems, including but not limited to learning management systems, student information systems, online testing platforms, classroom technology, and CRM.
  • Lead adminstrator of our CRM Hubspot and forms and templates connected through API.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide training and support for the effective use of educational technology tools.
  • Design and implement data collection and reporting systems to support analyzing student performance, teacher effectiveness, and other relevant metrics.
  • Develop policies and procedures for the privacy and security of student data and technology systems.
  • Monitor and analyze data trends to identify improvement areas and recommend improvement strategies.
  • Work with external vendors to procure and implement new technologies and services that support the educational goals and objectives of the institution.
  • Manage the budget for technology and data management system.
  • Participate in educational technology conferences and stay current on emerging trends and best practices.
  • Develop a Cyber Security plan and perform training to reinforce policy and best practices.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
  • 35 years of experience in educational technology or data administration
  • Proficiency in learning management systems, student information systems, online testing platforms, and other educational technology tools
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Experience with project management and budgeting
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations in education
  • Ability to stay up to date on emerging trends and best practices in educational technology and data management
  • Ability to travel to multiple campuses in Phoenix and Tucson

Preferred But Not Required

  • Indepth knowledge of Tyler SIS
  • Indepth understanding of Google Workspace and Chrome Devices
  • Indepth understanding of Edgenuity
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot CRM
  • Working knowledge of Device Management Software (i.e., HexNode)
  • Working knowledge of Soft Phones (i.e., DialPad)
  • Working knowledge of Apple Products (i.e., MacBooks, iPhones, iPads)
  • Ability to manage outsourced IT providers
