La Jolla Recovery (LJR) is a Joint Commission-accredited substance abuse and mental health treatment center located in La Jolla and San Diego, California.

We are passionate about helping individuals recover from their addiction/mental illness to rediscover strengths and passion for life. LJR provides Detox, Residential, and Outpatient Services.

Job Title:
Behavioral Health Technician

Reports to:
Director of Operations

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with transportation of clients to groups, meetings, and appointments.
Conduct intakes of new clients; search belongings, complete inventory form, etc.
Perform routine room searches and monitoring of clients.
Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
Ensure clients attend groups, meetings and smoke only in designated areas.
Ensure that Treatment Center rules are followed.
Perform routine drug testing and breathalyzing of clients.
Maintain confidentiality as required by local, state and federal laws and guidelines.

Education and Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.
Valid Driver's License and great driving record.
Current Tuberculosis clearance.
First Aid and CPR Certified.
Has at least one year sober if in recovery or has a history of substance abuse.
Able to work nights and/or weekends.
Understanding of substance abuse and mental health treatment and recovery process.
Certification as Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT) preferred but not required.

Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
