Chambord/Studio Printworks is a printer of wallpaper

The White House Blue Room, Takashi Murakami art exhibition in the Chicago Art Museum, the Kiki Smith wallpaper in the Brooklyn Museum are wallpapers printed by us.

The products are high end sold to the interior design trade for residential use - and sometimes we do restaurants, stores hotels and other commercial work

We currently have a position open in our Digital printing & design department.

and would like to find someone with the following:

Excellent Photoshop skills

Knowledge of Onyx Rip software

Knowledge of Color Theory

Good eye for color is Key

Detail oriented

Knowledge of Design/Design Theory

Large Format Printing

Mechanically inclined(always a good trait)

Knowledge of Illustrator is good, but not necessary

Knowledge of Social Media is helpful

The majority of your daily tasks will revolve around creating color correct files of designs, color correcting existing files for production, following Purchase Orders, creating standards & following the instructions, and ensuring the color does not shift from run to run, looking over files for any issues, cutting/rolling orders, maintaining the work space, keeping stock of materials and other various assignments as needed.

The ability to multitask, manage your time, adhere to deadlines, and help where assistance is needed are also necessary traits for this position.

While a strong background is good, a keen eye for color is the most important. We are looking for applicants of all career levels.

Our location in Paterson NJ off Route 80.

There are no benefits provided with this position, and pay scale will be discussed post interview. Sick and Vacation time will be accrued after 3 month. We prefer to promote from within, so if you excel at this position, there is always the possibility to move up as new positions open

Our sister concerns do hand screen printing and hand block printing

In addition there will be some hand crafting in the near future

$ $30.00 per hour
