- Offer comprehensive technical support across the planning, design, and execution phases of projects. Conduct detailed system analyses to maximize design efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Actively assist in the procurement process, ensuring the timely availability of materials and equipment essential for project success.
- Monitor the construction phase, emphasizing safety and quality standards, supervising site activities, and managing contractor engagements to ensure project objectives are met.
- Help ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, implementing rigorous quality control processes.
- Create and maintain critical technical documentation, including design drawings, system specifications, and operational manuals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate technical details effectively with all project stakeholders, facilitating clear understanding and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Renewable Energy Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in engineering roles specific to solar energy projects within the commercial and industrial sectors.
- A solid grasp of the permitting process, electrical codes, and relevant regulations for solar project development and construction is required.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- NABCEP PV Installation Professional or Design Specialist
- LEED Green Associate or Accredited Professional (AP)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training
