JOB SUMMARY


We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Consultant to conduct a comprehensive operational review of the Sales and Marketing Directorate at the United States Mint.

This role involves analyzing current business operations, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with division heads to implement effective business solutions.


MAIN OBJECTIVES

  • Conduct detailed operational assessments across three divisions: Administration, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to streamline processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive improvement plan to boost productivity and operational integration.

SCHEDULE OF WORK

  • This is a fulltime position, with expected work hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Some flexibility in hours is available depending on project demands.

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE

  • Work will primarily be conducted at the United States Mint Headquarters, Washington, DC.

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

  • The contract duration is 12 months with potential extensions based on performance and project needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in operational consulting, particularly in government or large corporate settings.
  • Proven track record of improving business processes and implementing strategic changes.
  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of project management principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
