Description
We are seeking experienced Cable Pullers to join our team. As a Cable Puller, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of fiber optic networks. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in telecommunications, specifically in pulling fiber.


Responsibilities:


  • Pulling and routing fiber optic cables in both underground and aerial environments.
  • Splicing, terminating, and testing fiber optic cables.
  • Working with various tools and equipment to complete installations and repairs.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in telecommunications, with a focus on fiber pulling.
  • Proficiency in fiber optic installation techniques and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunication systems and equipment.
  • Ability to operate and maintain various tools and equipment used in fiber optic installation.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
  • Experience with fusion splicing and OTDR testing preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
