Description
SAIC is seeking a
Cybersecurity Specialists to support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDEVCOM), Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate, Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) Branch.


This position is on-site in Aberdeen, MD.

Job Duties:

  • Completes continuous monitoring and scanning for Risk Management Framework
  • Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access
  • Researches, evaluates and recommends new security tools, techniques, and technologies and introduces them to the enterprise in alignment with IT security strategy
  • Utilizes COTS/GOTS and custom tools and processes/procedures in order to scan, identify, contain, mitigate and remediate vulnerabilities, and intrusions
  • Assists in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e., NISPOM, DCID 6/3), and makes recommendations on process tailoring
  • Performs analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards
  • Supports the formal Security Test and Evaluation (STE) required by each government accrediting authority through pretest preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree

Required Skills:


  • Experience with eMASS in support of RMF within a DoD environment
  • Experience with security risk assessment automation tools like Xacta
  • Experience with developing and implementing security controls and formulates operational risk mitigations along with assisting in security awareness programs

Required Clearance:


  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI CI Poly Security Clearance

Covid Policy:
SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
