Delivery Driver Job Description:


Position Overview:

South Jersey Bakery LLC, headquartered in Paulsboro, NJ, is a wholesale provider of a wide range of bakery products.

As a Delivery Driver, your primary responsibilities involve loading bakery product, delivery of product lifting, pushing and pulling product off and on delivery truck and distributing to Dunkin' Restaurants.

Essential Functions:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Efficiently deliver customer orders promptly and accurately
• Maintain customer satisfaction and positively impact SJB's image
• Strategically load orders into vehicle
• Drive safely to deliver orders
• Unload vehicle and arrange racks in appropriate layout in rack wash area
• Miscellaneous pickup and delivery on SJB's behalf

Work Experience:


Education and/or Experience:

• At least a year of experience driving a 26ft box truck
• Retain knowledge of job functions and be able to recognize and communicate problems, as well as recommend solutions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
