    About The TeamThe Legal Team is an integral part of making our customers successful starting with our contracting process and moving through all areas of the business.

    The Legal Team is highly collaborative and this individual will need to take pride in personal excellence, display a high level of independence and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

    The Legal Team also oversees all areas of Legal and Compliance within the company and works with all departments on a regular basis.

    The Role Outreach is looking for an experienced Director of Legal to join our Legal team that supports the entire organization from Sales and Marketing to HR, Finance, Product, Engineering and everything in between As Director of Legal you'll play a key role in all areas of the business here at Outreach, including being involved and owning key aspects of the contracting process as well as working on all other legal matters that the company faces.

    This position can be hybrid in Seattle or Atlanta or remote within the US.

    #LI-Remote #LI-HybridYour Daily Adventures Will Include Perform as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders across the business, including advising on legal and business issuesManage other members of the sales contract team, including developing their skills and ensuring their success in the businessDraft and negotiate a variety of complex agreements, including SaaS/Cloud agreements, MSAs, DPAs, NDAs, and SOWs in a fast paced sales environment ensuring high quality of work and interacting both with internal stakeholders and external customers to negotiate and resolve contractual issuesResolve legal issues that come up in contract drafting and working with internal stakeholdersProvide practical business-oriented counsel and guidance to senior managers, directors and executives on interpretation of laws, policies and contract provisionsProvide primary legal support for the sales team while providing back up support for other legal team members as necessaryWork on other legal and cross functional company projects as they may ariseCreate and implement training programs and materials for a fast paced sales teamIdentify, develop and implement improvements to policies, templates and processes to promote efficiency and internal alignment Work with business executives and other stakeholders on a broad range of complex legal, business and strategic issues as they ariseDevelop and maintain expert knowledge on new developments relevant to our businessOur Vision Of You6-8 years' experience, with prior in-house experience preferredSaaS experience preferredPrevious management experience preferredCreative, flexible, proactive and business focused approach to the contracting processHighly collaborative and ability to manage multiple projects independently Able to work effectively in a team environment and establish working relationships with coworkers to successfully accomplish objectivesSelf-starter with demonstrated ability to work with executive team, sales professionals and other business stakeholdersHigh level of attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and dedication to accuracyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to balance perseverance, humor, and dedication while displaying a strong backbone when neededAbility to approach problems with novel solutionsAccredited U.S.

    law degree and a current law licenseThe base salary range for this role is $180,000-$215,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the your skills, qualifications, and experience.
