A bit about us:

We are seeking a Tax Manager to join a leading public accounting firm in San Diego. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients. This role will involve interacting with clients in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring their tax-related needs are met in a timely and accurate way. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and reviewing complex tax returns.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate tax compliance and advisory work for clients.
Review complex income tax returns, including Corporate, S-Corp, partnership, and individual clients.
Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
Conduct research on tax laws and regulations.
Provide consultation and support to clients on tax-related matters.
Maintain and update existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Manage, train, and mentor junior staff members.
Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality tax services.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in tax legislation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Active CPA license
Minimum of 5 years' experience in public accounting
Proven ability to manage a client portfolio and deliver high-quality tax services.
