Yard Truck Specialists is an industry-leading truck dealership that specializes in the selling, leasing, refurbishing, and servicing of yard jockey trucks and parts. We sell, lease, rent, repair, and service yard spotters across the mid-Atlantic region. We are a proud member of the H&K Equipment Group which has 11 locations throughout Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Allentown, Harrisburg, Syracuse, and the New England market and currently employ over 350 people.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pull product from storage and prepare for shipment
  • Count and verify part quantities
  • Stack cartons on skids, stretch wrap skids, and identify contents
  • May be required to prepare shipping documents and contact carriers for pickup of shipments
  • Load / unload trucks
  • Deliver parts to customer sites in a companyprovided vehicle
  • Enter received items into the system and store in proper location
  • Participate in monthend and yearend physical inventory
  • Keep warehouse organized, clean and in good condition
  • Follow safety rules such as proper lifting techniques, and use equipment safely
  • Operate forklift safely. We will provide training
  • Work to accomplish company inventory accuracy goals
  • Work with mínimal supervision

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow outlined procedures and processes
  • Good problemsolving skills
  • Experience with using FedEx and UPS
  • Experience in LTL and inventory control
  • Operate sit down and stand up forklifts
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Familiarity with scale used to do weigh counting. Ability to count, verify, and key on hand quantities into the system

Physical Demands:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
