Job Summary:
Duties:
- Assist in meal preparation under the supervision of kitchen staff
- Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Support menu planning and food service activities
- Handle food in compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen, dietary department, or similar setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic meal preparation techniques
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Understanding of food handling procedures
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Flexibility to assist with various tasks in a fastpaced environment
