    Description

    Mosquito Joe of Miami Valley is hiring part-time/full-time, seasonal Mosquito Control Tech

    We provide outdoor pest control services to residential and commercial customers, repelling and killing outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, spiders, ants, stinging insects (like wasps) and rodents. Our Mosquito Control Techs travel to customer homes to apply barrier spray solutions that eliminate mosquitoes for three weeks. We take great pride in our customer service. This seasonal position is from approximately April to October (depending on weather).

    What Our Mosquito Control Techs Do

    • Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, spiders, ants, stink bugs, stinging insects and more.
    • Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for services and procedures.
    • Maintain good customer relationships.
    • Take personal initiative and responsibility for correcting any problems. Maintain chemical records according to state requirements.
    • Participate in team meetings.
    • Complete training requirements. Training is provided.

    Job Requirements

    • Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weighing approximately 60lbs. (required)
    • Valid driver's license (required)
    • Comfortable driving to customer locations.
    • Reliable.
    • Professional.
    • Friendly.
    • Good customer service skills.
    • Detail oriented.
    • Willing and able to work flexible hours. (Some Saturdays are required, based upon weather.)
    • Willing to market the Mosquito Joe service. (Primarily answering potential customer questions when on jobsite or discuss additional services with current customers.)

    In additional to standard pay, there are potential bonuses based upon performance.
