PVB Fabrications, Inc.

(PVB), a direct hire, multi-disciplined industrial construction, and metal fabrication company, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant.

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support to our team members and assisting with various office administration tasks.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Answer the telephone promptly and courteously. Screens and route calls to appropriate parties.
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel or meeting rooms.
  • Coordinate, set up, and prepare meeting rooms.
  • Reset meeting rooms, supplies, and refreshments after meetings.
  • Receive and distribute packages and mail.
  • Assist with invoice preparation and processing.
  • Process employee expense reports on a weekly basis.
  • Reconcile company credit and fuel card statements.
  • Provide administrative support to safety and human resources departments.
  • Maintain office supplies and manage inventory. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or certification in office administration preferred.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in the construction or related industry.
  • Must pass preemployment substance abuse testing.

Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook), and general office technologies.
  • Bookkeeping skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.

Schedule
Work Schedule is 8 hours/day (Monday - Friday)

Overtime may be required based on business needs.
