Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the continuous improvement strategy for Ivy, aligning with the overall organizational objectives.
  • Advise management on project selection, resource integration, and prioritization.
  • Manage a resource pipeline for recommended Lean and Engineering initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvement within operations.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives and track progress over time.
  • Assist in evaluating all sites for Lean and Engineering operations readiness.
  • Define time estimates for proposed Engineering projects.
  • Manage Lean Coach Certification process.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvement within operations.
  • Ensure Lean principles are implemented at each location.
  • Develop standard procedures to support the Lean and Engineering roadmap.
  • Establish support structures for Global Lean Managers and Lean Managers.
  • Lead and coordinate assessments for immediate improvements to Lean and Engineering processes.
  • Explore metrics to monitor progress in quality, velocity, and cost reductions.
  • Conduct and coordinate Lean/Best Practice/Continuous Improvement training.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Corporate Lean Maturity Index.
  • Monitor and continuously improve the Lean initiative's productivity and quality of operations.
  • Proficient in Lean tools and processes to share knowledge on a global scale.
  • Collaborate with executives and management to implement plans and recommendations.
  • Report Global Lean and Engineering Program status to the executive team.

Skills Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering management, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Proven track record of leading successful continuous improvement initiatives within engineering organizations, resulting in tangible business outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute longterm continuous improvement strategies.
  • Resultsoriented mindset, with a passion for driving operational excellence and delivering measurable results.
  • Change management expertise, with the ability to drive cultural transformation and organizational change.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience working in a fastpaced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to change and drive innovation.
