Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Freelance Lighting Technician to join our team.

As a Lighting Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lighting equipment for various events and productions.

Your expertise in lighting design and technical knowledge will contribute to creating captivating visual experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the production team to understand the lighting requirements for each event or production
Set up and install lighting equipment, including fixtures, cables, and control systems
Program and operate lighting consoles to create desired lighting effects
Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of lighting equipment to ensure optimal performance
Coordinate with other technicians and crew members to ensure seamless execution of lighting cues during live events or performances
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in lighting technology and techniques
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical equipment

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Lighting Technician or similar role in the entertainment industry
Strong knowledge of lighting equipment, control systems, and programming techniques
Proficient in using lighting consoles such as GrandMA, Avolites, or ETC Eos
Familiarity with DMX protocols and signal flow
Excellent understanding of color theory, light angles, and visual composition
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
