Staff Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Billing, process invoices, and locate and resolve account discrepancies
- Reconcile vendor, customer, SW partner, and other financial accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets and forecasts
- Analyze financial data and business workflows to identify trends and make recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Analyze operational workflows and recommend controls with and between departments
- Support internal and external audits, gathering necessary account information and documents
- Create and review effective KPIs to measure performance and help create employee incentive plans
- Support the CFO with daily operations and projects
- Work with crossfunctional teams, including Billing and Sales, to improve financial operations
Requirements:
- BS in Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the IT industry
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and GAAP
- Strong ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
- Proficiency with enterprise accounting software
Bonus Qualifications:
- Business & Financial Analytics experience and an understanding of some of its tools, including Power BI
- An understanding of RPA, particularly with Microsoft Power Automate
Pay:
$60, $80,000.00 per year
