As a safety officer on our construction sites, you will ensure the safety of our employees through your presence and attention.
We are currently looking for you as a career changer for retraining as a construction site safety specialist (m/f/d) at DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH for deployment in the northern region. During the in-house retraining to become a safety officer and then a safety supervisor, we will prepare you for your job entry.
What to expect during your retraining:
  • The training takes place full-time (40 hours/week) and consists of theoretical and practical lessons
  • The theoretical lessons take place at different locations, and your practical assignments will be as close to your place of residence as possible
  • The career changer group consists of approximately participants
After your retraining, you will take on the following tasks:
  • You will secure all employees working in the track area with various signaling techniques from approaching trains
  • You will be the contact person for the responsible authority in railway operations, safety monitoring, the construction manager, and the technically authorized person
