Description

for the upper secondary school Vechigen in Boll (full-time employment plus approximately 20% cleaning staff on an hourly basis)

Your responsibilities

  • Ensuring optimal maintenance cleaning and operation of the school building, gymnasium, and outdoor facilities including sports fields. The school complex also includes two kindergarten buildings
  • Maintenance and upkeep of buildings, furniture, technical equipment, machinery, and tools as far as possible
  • General supervision of the facility
  • Participation in official school events and community events outside of school hours
  • Assistance with budget planning for the maintenance of the school complex, furniture, machinery, and equipment
  • Managing and supervising the cleaning staff
  • Assisting with technical services substitute pool when needed

    • We expect

  • Manual dexterity and good physical condition
  • Certified caretaker or willingness to complete this training
  • Independent, reliable, and precise work ethic
  • Willingness to work flexible hours in the evenings and on weekends
  • Understanding and enjoyment in working with children, teenagers, and teachers
  • Teamwork and assertiveness
  • Residency in the municipality of Vechigen is advantageous, but no staff housing
