    Job Description

    Full-time position for a Junior Civil Engineer to work in a small engineering company located in Baton Rouge, LA.

    The successful candidate will work mainly on solid waste and geotechnical projects, including design, permitting, monitoring, and inspection of landfills.

    Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering is required as well as 1 year of experience using AutoCad/Civil 3D in a work environment.

    Typical duties will include environmental permitting, CAD design, bid package preparation, and construction project management. Environmental sampling knowledge is desirable, but not required. Typical duties will also include occasional performance of engineering inspections at field locations, mostly out of town.

    In addition, candidate must have a good attitude, attention to detail, strong reporting skills, and be able to get along well with others.

    Local candidates preferred; no relocation. Candidates must also have a safe driving record and reliable transportation.
