Controller

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our team.

This person must have will have over 5 years of experience in financial management, and a strong familiarity within the construction industry.

As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Responsibilities:

Manage daytoday financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights into company performance.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate annual audits and tax filings.
Monitor cash flow, credit, and investment activities, optimizing financial performance and liquidity.
Collaborate with project managers and senior management to evaluate project profitability and make informed business decisions.
Provide strategic financial guidance to support longterm business objectives and growth initiatives.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform financial strategies and policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficiency in accounting software
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
