Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver/Cleaner to join our transportation team.
The Bus Driver/Cleaner will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from designated locations and assist with cleaning the school buildings between routes.
This is a 12 month, full-time position.Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus following a set schedule and route
- Ensure the bus is clean and wellmaintained
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with passengers and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and fares collected
Requirements:
- Valid and clean NYS commercial driver's license (CDL) with an "S" endorsement
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including vans or school buses
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with mechanical aspects of vehicles is a plus
Pay:
$48, $53,196.00 per year
