_Responsibilities:

MARKETING/DESIGN/BRAND:


  • Deliver bold, modern designs that reflect the Coop's values while maintaining established brand guidelines.
  • Conceptualize, plan, and create compelling marketing materials for all external print and digital needs.
  • Work within established timelines for a variety of projects and implement feedback to meet deadlines.
  • Participate in crossdepartmental collaboration and coordination in the creation and delivery of materials.
  • Provide design support for internal communication needs, including flyers, reports, publications, forms, and presentation decks.
  • Liaison with printers and other external vendors and understand best practices.
  • Adhere to a high standard of project and file organization.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, cohesive store image.
  • Assist with the development, coordination, and communication of Coop events.

WEBSITE/SOCIAL MEDIA/DIGITAL:


  • Assist with monitoring and updating the Coop website (Wordpress).
  • Manage SEO and accessibility.
  • Assist in the design and layout of the Coop website.
  • Assist in maintaining instore digital tv display signage and menus.
  • Create eNews (MailChimp) and social media posts and graphics as needed.
  • Create and set up digital ads on Google and social media platforms.
  • Pull and analyze analytics reports.
  • Assist in the budgeting of digital advertising as needed.

PHOTOGRAPHY:


  • Take product photographs, provide postproduction image retouching and additional image manipulation for print
- and digital-ready photographs.

  • Attend Coop events and take photographs.

OTHER:


  • Assist in proofreading.
  • Assist in the maintenance of coop documents, archives, and resource material.
  • Assist with donations and sponsorships as needed by the marketing manager, including followup with groups/organizations, coordination of donation checks or items, and proper recordkeeping for department use and future reference.
  • Create templates in Microsoft, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as needed.
  • Set up phone recordings as needed.
  • Collect monthly billing statements for digital platforms.

Requirements:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A strong grasp of graphic fundamentals, layout, color, and typography.
  • Expert level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Acrobat), Word, and Excel.
  • Manage multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail and reprioritize in an everchanging environment.
  • Comfortable working with all industrystandard file types and delivery methods.
  • Experience with website management, familiarity with CSS/HTML and technical requirements for website files, and familiarity with technical requirements for social media images.
  • Working understanding of photography equipment, lighting, and DSLR cameras.
  • Basic knowledge of video creation and editing.
  • Experience and comfort with customer service.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and do event setups.
  • Must be available for Coop events as scheduled.
  • Ability to follow the safety policies and procedures of Hunger Mountain Coop.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to customers, vendors, and co
- workers.

  • Ability to work well with others in a cooperative environment where teamwork and constant communication are essential.
