    We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Quality Engineer to be part of our team in Arlington. The main role of the Quality Engineer is to ensure that all electronic products and components meet top-notch quality standards. This position calls for strong technical skills in electronic hardware, a sharp attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate findings with clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and reduce customer returns by engaging with clients to help resolve their issues and sharing insights to prevent future occurrences.
    • Conduct thorough inspections of electronic products, components, and assemblies to uncover failure modes and root causes.
    • Perform various tests and measurements using specialized equipment and tools to confirm the performance, functionality, and reliability of electronic devices.
    • Record and communicate test results, defects, and non-conformities accurately and promptly, utilizing suitable quality control systems and databases.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, and production staff, to tackle and resolve quality issues and enhance the overall product quality.
    • Aid in creating and implementing quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection guidelines to guarantee consistent and efficient manufacturing processes.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and take corrective actions for quality failures, implementing preventive measures to prevent reoccurrence.
    • Support the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure precision and reliability of measurements.
    • Train and educate production personnel on quality control methods, procedures, and best practices.
    • Stay informed on industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements in electronic manufacturing to improve the quality control processes.
    • Other quality-related tasks as assigned.

    Requirements

    • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent electronics expertise.
    • 5+ years of extensive engineering development background.
    • Thorough knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and assembly processes.
    • Familiarity with quality control methodologies, tools, and statistical approaches.
    • Proficiency in utilizing test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
    • Strong analytical and issue-solving abilities with the capacity to conduct root cause analysis.
    • Must be able to apply engineering skills to identify potential design failures and suggest product enhancements.
    • Capability to interpret schematics and specifications.
    • Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
    • Outstanding writing skills for effective customer communications.
    • Exceptional attention to details.
    • Deep commitment to superior customer service.
    • Extra credit for Green-Belt Quality certification.
