Huntington Park, CA
Bodycote is offering a $1500 sign-on retention bonus
We also offer:

  • Starting wages are $18.00/hour to $20.00/hour depending on experience.

As an Inspector C, you will be responsible for inspecting parts to meet customer specifications and assisting the Quality Manager in related tasks with moderate supervision


In addition, you will:


  • Accurately perform hardness and other tests and record results as required.
  • Complete conformance and other related paperwork; perform shop audits and or/reviews as required.
  • Report any deviation, problem, or irregularity to the supervisor or management.
  • Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
  • Perform other tasks as designated by position.
  • This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer's inventory and as such will perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent customer loss or damage.
  • Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with coworkers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.


  • Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum zero to two years in heat treating industry or related field.
  • Must have a working knowledge of all testing equipment and terminology.
  • Basic knowledge of commercial and aerospace materials and heattreating equipment is desired.
  • Must have some experience reading/interpreting blueprints, be detailoriented, and possess manual dexterity.
  • May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
